Stibo investing in a 48 pager in Katrineholm – focus on market in Sweden and Norway
Stibo Complete is installing a third press – a 48-page roll offset press which is to produce magazines for the Swedish and Norwegian market.
Former Sörmlands Grafiska in Katrineholm has gone through som really tough times the last years. After the bankruptcy in 2016, Danish firm Stibo took over and started building up the business again. The company changed its name to Stibo Complete and is now focusing on increasing its market share in both Sweden and Norway.
The investment in further capacity will add to the two existing presses (16- and 32-page). The new investment is a 48 page Lithoman that will be moved from Denmark to Katrineholm, Sweden.
“The machine will be producing magazines for the Swedish and Norwegian market, where we experience a growing demand at the same time as the customers expect shorter delivery times” Stibo Complete writes in a comment.
Stibo Complete has a yearly paper consumption of 32,000 ton.
The machine is said to be up and running from October 1st 2019.
