
Lasertryk acquires Swedish printer – and posts improved 2018 results
Danish giant Lasertryk reported a turn over of 430 (399) million Danish krones in 2018 – an increase of 8 per cent compared to 2017. The operating profit jumped to 74 (54) million Danish krones which give a margin of 17 (14) per cent. The result before tax was 34 (19) million Danish krones. The company has almost 500 employees as now.
Lasertryk has over a five year period acquired 15 print houses, among them one Swedish – Stockholm-based firm E-print which was the first one outside Denmark. Branschkoll was the first to report this. Lasertryk is said to be in dialogue with even more Swedish print houses.
According to the year end report, Lasertryk consumed eight thousand ton paper divided on 265,000 orders during 2018.
