Investing in new machine for paper straws – looking for re-sellers
Swedish firm H-Tryck from Markaryd has been in China and purchased a machine for production of paper straws. The straws can be produced with and without print.
“We will get the machine in two months time,” says Sam Hansson of H-Tryck.
Different kinds of straws and sizes can be produced – for milkshakes, soft drinks, drinks and also smaller straws with a cut end to fit small tetra-paks.
The straws are produced of three layers of paper which are glued together.
“They stay hard for two hours and after that they are mouldering away, which is the whole idea”, says Hansson.
H-Tryck plans to deliver paper straws to other printers, profile firms and everyone selling consumer goods in all Nordic countries.
