
Fespa scheduled to go on despite corona virus threat
The Fespa fair in Madrid, Spain is just a few week away. In a statement, Fespa CEO Neil Felton said the Fespa event will take place as scheduled. This is reported by Printweek.
“Fespa is committed to safeguarding the health of all exhibitors, visitors and contractors at Fespa events to the best of its capabilities. As such, the Fespa board and senior management team is actively monitoring all developments relating to COVID-19. Fespa is currently reviewing a number of proactive options with a view to minimising the risks to all participants at the event,” says Felton in the statement.
Also Interpack and Drupa trade fairs in Dusseldorf say in a statement that they are currently monitoring the corona situation.
The world’s largest mobile phone trade fair, Mobile World Congress, in Barcelona has recently cancelled its event after many major exhibitors pulled out due to the corona virus situation.
