Horizon goes digital – several large post press investments in the Nordics
Horizon has during the last years sold three major glue binding solutions in the Nordics. In this article Horizon explains how the company foresees the future in the post press area.
Horizon calls itself “graphic innovators in automation”. The company says it wants to make printing companies smarter. During the Corona year 2020, Horizon has focused massively on launching new services and products. In addition, Horizon has opened Horizon Innovation Park in Japan where all machinery and systems are displayed with partners such as Hunkeler, Canon, Ricoh, Fujixerox, Screen and more.
Nordic success stories
Paul Jakobson, who is leading the Horizon operations in the Nordics, says that 2020 has been a very good year for Horizon in Norway and Sweden. However, the Corona situation has postponed several installations in different locations. Finland and Denmark have experienced a harder lock-down of society, which has led to more difficulties for the graphic industry, according to Jakobson.
“During the last three years, we have delivered three large glue binding solutions in the Nordics. One in Finland to Grano, one in Norway to the 07 Group and now one more in Norway to Rolf Ottesen. During spring 2021 we will also install a new glue binding line at a book binder in Gothenburg, Sweden,” says Jakobson.
