Vistaprint organizes competition for startups in the Nordic
Vistaprint has launched a new competition for start-ups in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. The competition is launched in collaboration with the organization Drivhuset. According to Vistaprint, the goal is to be able to support small businesses in the start-up phase.
The competition has been named Njord Nest and the target group is primarily small companies whose business idea is to create a more sustainable future.
It is free to participate and the deadline for submitting entries is 31 January 2021.
A panel of experts will select the 10-15 best entries that will have the opportunity to participate in a twelve-week course funded by Vistaprint. The participants will among other things receive training in entrepreneurship and take a closer look at tools that can contribute to developing the companies’ business model.
The three best sustainable business ideas receive 2,500 euros in financial support and 500 euros to spend on marketing material and design-support.
“During these challenging times, many companies have had to start over, rethink or change their companies fundamentally. With this competition, we will support small businesses that create new and groundbreaking ideas,” says David Medlin, General Manager for the Nordics at Vistaprint.
The partner Drivhuset in Norden has trained entrepreneurs for over 25 years. The organization offers consultation and courses to start-ups.
