World Land Trust: Covid-19 has made people wake up to the climate crisis

Carbon Balanced Paper partner World Land Trust has been interviewed by BBC on the effects of covid19. World Land Trust director Dan Bradbury tells BBC that people now have realised how important landscapes are.

“People are waking up – we have a biodiversity crisis and climate crisis, and I think people have seen the link with that and the pandemic. Also, during the lockdown, people were heading out into open spaces and hearing the birds sing, and loving being outdoors, and have seen how important landscapes are to them,” says Bradbury.

Grafkom runs Carbon Balanced Paper in the Nordics and cooperates with World Land Trust on the offsetting of carbon emissions. Carbon Balanced Paper supports World Land Trust’s project in Vietnam.
