M&A in Norway: Ålgård acquires broker
The consolidation in the Norwegian print industry continues.
Ålgård Offset/Printagon acquires Oslo-based Artko by taking over 100 per cent of Artko’s shares from February 2022. Including Artko, the new group will have a turnover of approximately 500 million NOK in 2022, and becomes the largest producer of printed products in Norway/Sweden, Ålgård writes in a press release.
Owner of Ålgård Offset, Tom Bjarte Norland, tells Grafkom that Ålgård now will take over all Artko jobs that fit the production in Ålgård and in Helsingborg (Printagon). This means in reality that quite many jobs that have been produced abroad now will be transferred to Ålgård/Printagon in Norway/Sweden.
Artko will continue to operate as a separate brand with the same management and employees. In 2020, Artko had a turnover of 75 million NOK.
