Management buyout: Grano Digital in Estonia

The board management of Grano Digital in Estonia has recently acquired the company from its Finnish owner. This is reported by the Association of Estonian Printing and Packaging Industry.

On April 24, a purchase and sale agreement was signed between Orangeprint OÜ, a company formed by the management of Grano Digital OÜ, and Grano Oy, a Finnish company, as a result of which Orangeprint OÜ is the new owner of Grano Digital OÜ.

The change of ownership came due to Grano Oy’s desire to more clearly define its strategy in the home market in Finland, which turned into an offer to the managers of the subsidiary here for a company buyout (MBO) and which has now come to execution in the form of this transaction.

Grano Digital’s activities in the Estonian market will remain the same, and the focus will continue to be on the development of its services according to the needs of the home market and customers. Grano Digital will continue to use the Grano brand, at least for the time being, and cooperation with Grano Oy will also continue in the future.
