It is only two weeks to the NOPA annual meeting and seminar in Frankfurt.

Written by Lasse Krogell, Nopa:
We have once again succeeded in building a seminar program with information you should not miss. We will hear raw facts about the development in our industry.
EU is pushing all industries with legislation that is not always welcomed. The EU Deforestation Regulation has been in the planning face for already some time and has caused a lot of confusion among printers. Is it something the printer really must act on, or is it only the paper manufacturers and distributers task? Per Kaae Hansen, a real expert in this field, will explain what it means and how the printer should prepare for the day when the legislation comes into force.
We will have three presentations of particular interest. I think of them as a triangle. In one corner there is Innovation & Solutions Manager Christian Haneke from Sattler Media talking about the journey to digital inkjet . In the other base corner Fredrik H. Andersson, VP Expansion at Gelato, talks about the great possibilities the printing industry has, and on the top of the triangle we have AI with CEO Svante Pahlman from DigitaBlue.
As we all know the printing industry has been quite conservative, but technology develops at an accelerating speed, particularly the AI technology. Very few printers have started to do something radically different. This means there is a lot of potential to be a forerunner and to build a winning gap when acting now.
Inkjet will be the printing technology for the future. Gelato has already shown that by thinking big you can really do something completely different. When you read about the impact AI will have to almost everything and how fast it is developing, there must be lots to gain, also for the printing industry. Investing in AI will make the topping of the cake .
I am really looking forward to listening to these three presentations and trying to summarize the messages and build on with my own thoughts what possibilities there will be. What will the printing company of tomorrow look like?
If you have not registered for Frankfurt, think once more and act now. Our seminars have been very well received and I am sure the coming one will not make an exception.
