Heidelberger Druckmachinen AG has gone through a turbulent year, but there are some lights in the tunnel i.e. in Denmark. This according to Danish news letter Print og Medier.
Heidelberg Denmark has during 2020, despite the Corona outbreak, sold five new offset presses in Denmark.
“Several years have gone in Denmark without any major investments in new print capacity. The major printing houses have now realized that in order to survive in this business they must have state-of-the-art print capacity,” says Jens Cronval, head of Heidelberg Denmark/Sweden.
Cronval is also optimistic when it comes to the Swedish market, which has a tendency to swing opposite of the Danish market.
“The Swedish market has been rather quiet over the last months. We believe they will wake up now and invest,” says Cronval.
