Four M&A deals in Norway in one week

The graphic industry in Norway witnessed four M&A deals in just three days last week, fuelling the consolidation process in the industry.

• The first deal was announced as the two main book binders in Norway – Lundeby & Co Bokbinderi and Grafisk Ferdiggjøring – are merging. The new company – called LGF – will have a turnover of approximately 100 million NOK and will be based in Hærland on the border to Sweden.
• Another major deal is Norwegian printing house BK (City of Sandefjord) who acquires Trykkpartner (City of Trondheim.) The companies will combined have a turn over of approximately 160 million NOK and be one of the biggest printing firms in Norway.
• Norways largest graphic company 07 Media is selling its daughter company 07 Moss to the employees as 07 wants to consolidate to fever offices. 07 Moss has been focusing on media content in the 07 Group. 07 Moss is changing name to Storybold . Inger Marie Spange (left image) will be CEO and owner from now on.
• Stavanger based printer Kai Hansen (92 million NOK in turnover) acquired newly merged Ide Totaltrykk/A1 Grafisk Ide and Nils Sund Trykkeri both small and local printing companies north of Stavanger.
