Scandbook with stable turnover despite corona crisis in Q1
Swedish book printer Scandbook was able to maintain its turnover in Q1 despite the corona virus hitting businesses in all sectors in March. The company posted a turnover of 69,3 (70,3) million SEK in Q1 2020.
Swedish book printer Scandbook was able to maintain its turnover in Q1 despite the corona virus hitting businesses in all sectors in March. The company posted a turnover of 69,3 (70,3) million SEK in Q1 2020. The operating margin was 0,9 (2,2) million SEK.
Scandbook writes in the report that the decline in turnover is mainly due to the corona situation which led to smaller runs and the postponements of some titles.
“We do have further cost-saving measures in the pipeline if the Covid 19 situation continues for a longer period of time, i.e. further short-term lay offs for our staff in Sweden,” says CEO Håvard Grjotheim in a comment.
