Åtta45 has acquired print firm By Wind and packaging firm GBGT Box. The new graphic group will have a combined turn over of approx. SEK 750M and about 325 employees.
As a part of the deal, By Wind Group AB becomes the third largest owner of Åtta45.
”With this strategic expansion, Åtta45 confirms its position as a leading graphic player in the Swedish market,” the company states in a press release.
“Together with By Wind and GBGT Box we will be able to offer an even stronger product portfolio and superior service to all of our clients. This is an exciting step forward for us and confirms our ambition to be in front of the development in the industry,” comments Erik Mauritzon, CEO of Åtta45.
By Wind and GBGT Box will still be marketed as independent brands and the present management in the companies will continue to be part of the business.
